Drake has become the first male artist to achieve 50 consecutive weeks in the top 10 on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100 chart.
The streak began when “Hotline Bling” landed in the top 10 in October of 2015. Not long after “One Dance” was released, both songs were briefly in the top ten at the same time.
Despite “One Dance” falling one spot on this week’s chart (beginning August 29th), that took the streak to 50 weeks. The next target is Katy Perry, who hold the Billboard record of consecutive weeks in the top 10, topping out at 69 weeks between 2010 and 2011.
