The Simpsons have made us laugh for nearly thirty years, and after another renewal, that’ll continue for the foreseeable future. Now in its 28th season, the show has had to generate a whole bunch of material in its 600 episodes. When you have that much airtime to fill, you’re bound to write a whole plethora of wide-ranging jokes. While fans of the series will tell you that its golden era ended after 1998, the show has managed to remain relevant by satirizing pretty much everything and anything you can think of.
On the latest episode of the famous cartoon, we were treated to a timely chalkboard gag. Simpsons writers showed their displeasure with the US election, plastering the phrase “being right sucks” all over Bart’s classroom blackboard. This of course, a reference to the show’s prediction of America’s latest president, Donald Trump.
