Pack your patience because it’s looking like Tuesday will be a mess on your commute to and from work or school.
Snow, rain and freezing rain seem in the cards over the next 24 hours in the Cornwall area, as a new system is expected to drop the next round of Winter’s fury from Windsor, through Greater Toronto and up into the Ottawa valley and the Seaway region.

A winter travel advisory is in effect for Tuesday and Tuesday night.
Snow is expected to develop Tuesday morning. Snowfall accumulations near 10 cm are likely before the snow changes to rain overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning. There is a risk of brief freezing rain late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
There may be a significant impact to travel Tuesday into early Wednesday morning. Poor winter driving conditions are expected. Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destination or consider changing their travel plans.
The weather system responsible is a Colorado low that will affect much of the province.
